Here is a small sample of my graphic design work. In the past I’ve designed book covers, posters, web banners, product packaging, websites and more.
I designed New York Times bestselling author John Green’s current personal website:

I designed Michael Buckley and Kristina Horner’s current YouTube channel layouts:

I’ve also created banners for YouTube channels fiveawesomeguys, LisaNova, charlieissocoollike and many others:

While working for LisaNova I designed a number of her online videos, including the fictional news broadcast series ANN: Annotated News Network, and her parody of Twilight:

Here are a few examples of some video work done to take average every day footage, and tarnish it so it would fit an eerie horror film:

And I designed the original Project for Awesome thumbnail that took over all of YouTube when the vlogbrothers asked their subscribers to band together for charity:

I’ve also worked on a number of book and CD covers. First, a design for John Green’s New York Times Bestselling novel, Paper Towns. My cover was presented to Penguin before publication, but rejected:

Another rejected book cover, this one for Alex Day’s “Skyers”:

This book cover, for Microcosm Publishing’s history zine did make it to publication:

I also designed a few web banners, brochures and posters for Microcosm Publishing:

And a banner for my own independent publishing project:

Here’s an early promo for a spoken word poetry EP I eventually released with DFTBA Records:

Speaking of DFTBA Records, here’s the cover art I created for their first compilation album:

And their release of Chameleon Circuit:

Here’s an early version of an album cover (featuring Kristina Horner) for my upcoming solo EP, which has since been re-titled:

This was a t-shirt design I created for the vlogbrother’s short-lived clothing line:

Here are a few buttons I’ve designed for DFTBA Records:

A shirt design for LisaNova that we never printed:

Some artwork for the lyric booklet that’s included with my solo EP:

I designed my own engraver font for use in music notation programs like Finale:

Screenshot (featuring walllofweird) from one of my YouTube videos parodying college recruitment commercials:

For a while I designed GUIs (Graphic User Interface) for audio effects plug-ins:

After which I moved on to designing the software boxes for these and other digital audio products:

Back in 2006 I used to run a podcast series which featured a new short story every week, written and read by independent writers. Each week I designed new podcast art for that week’s author:

And finally, I’ve designed a number of websites, including fallofautumn.com, dftba.com and buckhollywood.com among others:
