How do you pronounce your last name?
What programs do you use?
For music projects, I’ve used Steinberg’s Cubase Pro Audio since 2003. Over time I’ve worked on a few projects in Logic Pro, Saw Studio, and Pro Tools, but I’ve found I’m most comfortable with Cubase’s features and layout. All of The Caulden Road projects are produced by Christian Caldeira in Logic Pro, mixed in Pro Tools, and mastered through an analog desk by Stephen Marsh at Marsh Mastering.
For video projects, prior to 2014 most projects were made in Sony Vegas Pro. Since 2014, I’ve switched to Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite, so I now work in Premiere. DVD and Blu-Ray projects are authored in Magix DVD Architect.
For design projects, prior to 2014 most projects were made in Macromedia’s Fireworks. Since 2014 I’ve switched to Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite, so I now work in Photoshop.
For writing projects I use either Microsoft Word or Scrivener, depending on the size of the project.

I play an Alesis Q61 MIDI keyboard, Epiphone Special II electric guitar, Epiphone EBO electric bass, and use a Rode NT1-A condensor microphone. All of this is recorded through Steinberg’s UR22 audio interface.
I do all of my serious music listening on a Marantz PM8005 Integrated Amplifier, Marantz SA8005 SACD/CD player and DAC, and Sennheiser HD-650 headphones.
Can you connect me with John Green, Hank Green, etc.?
I cannot. But they both have contact forms on their respective websites.
Who are your musical influences or favorite artists?
This list could fill numerous pages, but paring it down to the absolute Top Ten essentials… Pink Floyd, Tori Amos, Steven Wilson, Michael Jackson, Tegan and Sara, The Smashing Pumpkins, Devo, Alan Parsons, Depeche Mode, Rush, and Madonna (okay, I cheated, that’s eleven). A genre diverse bunch, no doubt, but I think you can find elements of each in my music, and I love so many of their albums.
