A couple months ago, Douglas Glenn Clark and I adapted my short story, “The Fort”, into a short film screenplay. That screenplay was entered into the 2021 New York International Screenplay Awards.
The festival was held today in New York and “The Fort” was selected as a Quarter Finalist!
The judges said “The Fort” features “unique characters that contrast each other very naturally”.
I am grateful to the festival organizers for this honor and would like to congratulate all of the winners at tonight’s awards!
